Reading with The Liars League
NYC
May 2nd, 2012 - I will be reading a short story with The Liars League
NYC. The Liars League was originally founded in London in April
2007 and is a monthly live short fiction night featuring professional
actors bringing to life the best in original fiction from both
established and up-and-coming writers. Or, as they like to put it:
writers write, actors read, audience listens, everybody wins.
This is the inaugural event of the NYC branch.
It starts at 7PM but you might want to get
there a little before that to make sure you get a seat. It is free and
runs roughly two hours with an interval.

May 10th, 2012 - I will be performing in a one-night only staged
reading of "LaCrosse", as part of Emerging Artists Theater
Company's "In The Oven" Series. Lacrosse is a two-person
romantic serio-comedy
written by my frequent collaborator Kevin Brofsky and directed by
Vivian Meisner. The play is under consideration
for an Off-Broadway run in 2013.
In LaCrosse I play Sally Zimmer, a young female painter, newly wed
after an extremely long wait. Having grown up Jewish in the early
20th Century, she suffers from the social prejudice which has kept her
a fearful child in many ways.

and their fears and hopes for the future.

I play Peggy Callaway, an accomplished 60 year old legal strategist
trapped in the body of a teenage girl with Attention Deficit Disorder.
Through the span of her brief but colorful career she has embraced the
